The Aichi Arts Center, located in the city center of Nagoya, is a consolidated culture facility constructed by Aichi Prefecture, a grand cultural complex in Nagoya’s downtown Sakae district, Japan. With its sights set on the future, it now acts as a major focus to promote activities in culture and the arts. The Aichi Arts Center is composed of the following four facilities: The Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art, the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, Aichi Prefectural Arts Promotion Service, the Aichi Prefectural Library.
Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art is located on the ten tenth floor of the Arts Center. The museum offers a calm atmosphere in the heart of the city for appreciating works of art. It is open until 6 pm (and until 8 pm on Fridays) to welcome visitors who come after work, as well as tourists.
