Published in 1864, the science fiction novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth” recounts an adventurous journey through the Earth’s core. Through Verne’s scientifically rigorous prose, readers experience the vastness of time and space, as well as the transformations of the Earth’s landscape, within the mysterious underground world. From the Earth’s core to the heart of one’s being, from exploration to discovery, at the intersection of contemplation and imagination, the “Path to Heart” series of paintings present a similarly imaginative and romantic journey into the unknown, where the heart can roam freely, the heart can encompass the vastness of the universe. Inspired by archaeology and technology, by nature and the cosmos, every stroke of the brush illuminates. The inner light is color, and color enriches the world.
